Another story I have loved。 These shorter stories just leave you wanting more!! (in a good way)。Keeva and John are a rather unlikely pair, they seem so mismatched and not what each other are looking for, but they are just so drawn to each other。I have enjoyed seeing more of the daily life of the other people living in Holiday, their weekly routines and how they all interact with each other。I am looking forward to the next installment in this series。

Even though tragedy had made her loose her sparkle and zest for life, Keeva matured and grew into the person God had intended her to be and right where she was meant to be, where she found the love the awaited for her, even if John resisted her at first。 Though they were different, him-quiet and reserved and her more vibrant and enthusiastic, on a deeper level they shared the same dreams and faith, a great foundation for any marriage。 I loved how they both realized they were meant for each other Even though tragedy had made her loose her sparkle and zest for life, Keeva matured and grew into the person God had intended her to be and right where she was meant to be, where she found the love the awaited for her, even if John resisted her at first。 Though they were different, him-quiet and reserved and her more vibrant and enthusiastic, on a deeper level they shared the same dreams and faith, a great foundation for any marriage。 I loved how they both realized they were meant for each other and that together, through faith, they could tackle anything that came there way。 。。。more

What a wonderful addition to this series。 The second book is just as good as the first。 The main characters are great, totally opposite each other, but at the same time, perfect for each other。 So good to see characters from prior series and see where they are in life。 So much fun to catch up in their lives while seeing a new romance blooming。 So looking forward to the third and last book in this series。

Keeva is is a spirited young lady, not a lady meant to be a pastors wife。 By the time John realizes their differences don't matter, he might be too late。 Keeva is is a spirited young lady, not a lady meant to be a pastors wife。 By the time John realizes their differences don't matter, he might be too late。 。。。more

Great storyI loved John and Keeva’s story。 It shows us that even if we've made a mistake when we're young and immature, there is hope and a wonderful life that can come as you mature。 When Keeva first met John, she was under 18 and immature, when they meet again, Keeva has gone through a traumatic event and she's had to grow up。 She and John have a chemistry that can't be denied。 I love how God shows them who they are supposed to walk through life with。 Great storyI loved John and Keeva’s story。 It shows us that even if we've made a mistake when we're young and immature, there is hope and a wonderful life that can come as you mature。 When Keeva first met John, she was under 18 and immature, when they meet again, Keeva has gone through a traumatic event and she's had to grow up。 She and John have a chemistry that can't be denied。 I love how God shows them who they are supposed to walk through life with。 。。。more

Keeva was a 17-yr-old prideful young lady who was instrumental in the accidental death of a young man。 Though most everyone in town blamed her for his death, no one blamed her more than herself。 This event drastically changes her outlook on life, and she develops a determination to be a better person。 Because of her despair, her parents send her to Holiday, OR to visit her brother who is the town doctor。 John is the pastor of the only church in the town and has already decided exactly what he wa Keeva was a 17-yr-old prideful young lady who was instrumental in the accidental death of a young man。 Though most everyone in town blamed her for his death, no one blamed her more than herself。 This event drastically changes her outlook on life, and she develops a determination to be a better person。 Because of her despair, her parents send her to Holiday, OR to visit her brother who is the town doctor。 John is the pastor of the only church in the town and has already decided exactly what he wants in a wife – and Keeva does not fit that description。 That is fine with Keeva because she has decided that she will never marry。 Will the Lord change both their minds?Quote: “I’ve already learned life is hard for everyone from time to time。 You just have to walk in faith to make it through。”I received a copy of this book from the author。 My review is entirely voluntary and unbiased。 。。。more

Keeva is young and suffers from a devastating loss so in order to get away from people holding her responsible for the loss she gets the gift of travel from her parents for her 18th birthday! John is the pastor and is looking for a wife to settle in with him and help with his work - Keeva is too young, vibrant and outgoing and even though he has very strong feelings he fights them until the end! This is a wonderful series!! I read a beta version and freely leave my opinion。

Keeva needs to leave home and staying with her brother seems the right choice。 When John discovers that Keeva returned to Holiday he’s not very happy, not that he doesn’t like her, no the opposite。 But she is not what he’s looking for in a wife and helpmate。 Will he change his mind and find happiness? Again a fun story in this series。

I was taken aback with an audible gasp right off the bat。 With that, I was quickly ensconced into the story。 Pastor John and Keeva stole my heart。 Many moments of laughter just made it that more enjoyable。 Shanna Hatfield makes all her books so real that I can’t help being drawn in。

I was really looking forward to this next story in the Holiday Dreams series, and Pastor John Ryan and Keeva's Sweet Romance story didn't disappoint。 I enjoyed this opposites-attract read and how there was some background from having read Henley by the same author (it was a delightful surprise to see the heroine being related to the famous town's doctor。) As always with a Historical book from this author, I enjoyed and appreciated her research and how all the little details helped bring the stor I was really looking forward to this next story in the Holiday Dreams series, and Pastor John Ryan and Keeva's Sweet Romance story didn't disappoint。 I enjoyed this opposites-attract read and how there was some background from having read Henley by the same author (it was a delightful surprise to see the heroine being related to the famous town's doctor。) As always with a Historical book from this author, I enjoyed and appreciated her research and how all the little details helped bring the story to life。 Oh, and her descriptions of all the different foods had me hungry at all times of day (be it for sweet or savory dishes。) It was nice seeing this new side to John and Dillon's friendship, as well as the growth that happens for Keeva throughout the story after such a tragic accident in Ch。 1。 Honestly, the only reason for my rating is that I thought she was gonna talk about it with John (since it was the main reason for her move to Holiday, and the theme of truth seemed to be more prominent in a pastor's story) before things progressed in their relationship, but alas, it didn't happen。 Other than that, it is a delightful read full of love, attraction, community, helping others, and it definitely feels like visiting friends。 😊 Can't wait to check out Rowan's story! ~ 4。5 stars。 。。。more

Keeva needs to get away after a bad accident and finds herself in Holiday trying to rebuild herself。 The pastor struggles to decipher his commitment to the church and feelings for the feisty red head。 A wonderful story and perfect place to read about。 Fun read。

Keeva first visited Holiday was when her brother married and a year later she returns after going through a tragic situation and her parents sent her back to Holiday。 John met Keeva at her brothers wedding and never forgot her and now John is looking for a wife but she does not fit what he thinks a wife of a pastor should be but the more time he spends with her at the church he more he is drawn to her。

A wonderful addition to the series by Shanna Hatfield。After a horrible accident that killed a friend, Keeva feels responsible and becomes despondent。 For her eighteenth birthday they give her a ticket to Holiday, Oregon to visit her brother。 John is the local pastor and very serious in life。 He believes he should marry a serious minded woman nothing like Keeva。 They have both been attracted to each other since the first time they met but know they are too different。 Or are they?*I received this A wonderful addition to the series by Shanna Hatfield。After a horrible accident that killed a friend, Keeva feels responsible and becomes despondent。 For her eighteenth birthday they give her a ticket to Holiday, Oregon to visit her brother。 John is the local pastor and very serious in life。 He believes he should marry a serious minded woman nothing like Keeva。 They have both been attracted to each other since the first time they met but know they are too different。 Or are they?*I received this as an ARC reader and am leaving my unbiased review。 。。。more

Keeva is obsessed with herself and it has led to disaster。 She decides to go to her brother’s home to fashion a new life and change her ways。 She runs into a pastor she had met a year ago and experiences the pull of attraction。 They run circles around each other denying any feelings。 It nearly tears each one apart。 They need to learn to rely on God to quiet them。 Will they obey or fight it to the limit? You need to read this weary enticing love story。

Being opposites doesn’t matter!John and Keeva are definitely opposite, but opposites attract, right? I found this to be a touching story of a pastor and his future wife。 Keeva learns that sometimes God uses painful mistakes to make us what He wants us to be。 John had to learn that God knows better than he did when it came to a life’s partner。 A short, quick read that has you wanting to shake them both at times to get them to see what’s right in front of them。 I received a complimentary copy and Being opposites doesn’t matter!John and Keeva are definitely opposite, but opposites attract, right?
